The Africa Centre re-launched its new Africa Also Smiles poster campaign at the Irish Aid Volunteering and Information Centre on Thursday 10th September 2009.

The campaign was re-launched by Her Excellency, Catherine Muigai Mwangi, Ambassador, Embassy of the Republic of Kenya to Ireland. The campaign focuses on the image of Africa and Africans portrayed in the developed world.

Currently the Africa Centre is producing a school pack of the posters. This will be available to school in the near future. The posters are free and you can collect them from the Africa Centre offices on 9C Abbey Street Lower, Dublin 1 or contact Mbemba Jabbi at mbemba@africacentre.ie or 01-8656951 and copies will be sent to you.
