Africa Centre and the Wheel agreed on a date to host the second People's Conversation. As the first Conversation we had was very productive, we are delighted to organise the second phase of the project and push it to the next level!

With this new Conversation a new topic will be presented and new challenges will be brought. The question we will try and bring elements of answer to is: "What do citizens expect and what is expected of citizens?"

This question obviously relates to citizenship, activism, local policies and governance. As members or friends of the Africa Centre, we would expect our stakeholders to actively participate in the Discussion and bring their views, share their experiences as members of the Diaspora and integral part of the Irish society. We would be thrilled to see people coming together and tackle these issues no matter what their origins, religion or citizenship are. We would like to bring together individuals and human beings who want to speak up on what citizenship and identity mean.

The details of this event are as follows:

date: 02-5-2015 @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

venue: Comhlamh offices (blue door between Mezza and Corfu restaurants)

12, Parliament Street

Dublin 2

This initiative is the opportunity for members of the Diaspora to express themselves and shape the Irish society they would like to live in.
