Emmy currently serves as Vice Chairperson, Board Director and Public Relations Officer of the Africa Ireland Centre.
Former representative of Ireland to the World Trade Centre Association, Emmy is fomer Manager for trade development & communications of the World Trade Centre Dublin. During her tenure at WTC Dublin, she led a team that brought a trade technology ( www.webportglobal.com) to the European market and was a crucial player in the development and execution of a national trade partnership with the Bank of Ireland ( www.bankofireland.com/webportglobal).
Since 2012, Emmy has also represented Sport Against Racism Ireland on a voluntary basis. She has engaged in various international conferences as their spokesperson. She recently addressed the United Nations to promote the use of sport as a means towards peace building and social inclusion amongst groups. She is a recognised human rights activist within her community.
Emmy is a graduate of International Relations, Politics, Philosophy and Law from both University College Dublin and BPP University Law School, London. She is currently finalising a Diploma in Public Relations from the Irish Academy of Public Relations and has acted as an advisor to companies in the area of imports and exports.
She spends her spare time training in track & field with aims to compete in her first heptathlon this coming year. Becoming a social entrepreneur is also on her to do list!
