Carine Mambou
Programme Manager

Carine Mambou is a Journalist, Author, AU/CIEFFA Alumni and Ambassador for the #AFRICAEDUCATESHER campaign in Francophone Africa, Focal Point of the United Nations Migration Agency in Ireland, Member of the Advisory Committee of the County Clare Women's Network, Community Health Ambassador, Alumni Emerging leaders Common Purpose, Carine is a multi-award-winning in entrepreneurship and for her determination in the fight against child rape in particular and gender-based violence in general in Europe and Africa.

Carine is a Gender Expert, Founder of MEMA Group (WIHIA News, CAD Agency, CAD AID Foundation, CAD Publishing) and Co-Founder of the agricultural company AGRIMAD SARL.

Carine fights energetically against gender-based violence in general and child rape in particular and she is a supporter of gender equality and promotes the education of young girls and the empowerment of women with a focus on Africa.

Abisola (Abi) Faronbi-Lynch
Youth Intercultural & Wellbeing Educator

Abisola Faronbi-Lynch – is a Nigerian diaspora living in Ireland. She is a certified wellbeing coach and the founder and CEO of Mind Emotional Nurturing. Her primary goal is to help individuals from an Ethnic Minority background improve their standard of living by developing life skills and attitudes. A significant part of this involves teaching people how to cope with stress and anxiety while dealing with the challenges of daily living in the Republic of Ireland.

Abi studied at De Montfort University, United Kingdom (UK), and successfully attained an Undergraduate Degree in Health Studies and a Postgraduate Degree in Personnel and Development. She spent a further two years completing an Advanced Diploma in Human Resource Management and was also awarded an Associate Member of Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) qualification. Abi is an active member of the Association for Coaching (AC) following the completion of her Diploma in Coaching qualification in 2019.

She worked as a Human Resources (HR) professional for one of the UK’s leading Retail Banks for five years. Abi currently works as Projects Officer here in the Africa Solidarity Centre Ireland, Dublin Office. She uses her vast range of experiences, coaching skills, and knowledge to inform, educate, and encourage young people to live and lead healthy and fulfilling lives.

While actively collaborating with young people, Abi aims to help them build confidence by strengthening their minds and emotions. By doing so, they can develop the courage to speak out about the issues, barriers, and other inequalities they might be experiencing within society.

Bim Oyediran

Bim Oyediran is a Nigerian-British woman who first moved to Dublin as a student. She has a B.Sc. Science Education from DCU. After several years away she returned in 2023. She desires to see the African diaspora flourishing and empowered.

She is a community health worker who works with new communities in Dublin's inner city. She has facilitated community programmes such as healthy food courses, cancer screening initiatives and coffee mornings and enjoys connecting with people and their stories.

She has worked in administrative roles in hotel and project management for several years.

She has a love for photography and uses it as a way to document and create art.

Bim hopes to use her knowledge and experience to support the African community here in Ireland.
